Our Mission
For the Campfire LLC is dedicated to supporting writers at any and all stages of the writing process to help create incredible stories with intention and prowess. Our goal is to put stories into the world that will be told for years to come in the ways humans always have: to escape the mundane, to comfort, to thrill, to connect author and reader, to bond.
To be told
with a shout, with a laugh,
with a whisper, with a shriek,
at the campfire.

For the Campfire specializes in the dark and gloomy, but has never been one to shrink from the light.

Horror, thriller, historical, fantasy, and all other genres excluding contemporary romance are welcome to apply.

- Bess T.

“Her feedback on my manuscript was extremely useful. I'll need to do some extensive revising,
but having her take a look at it has already given me a foot upwards compared to what I normally have.”
– Mark W.
“I feel so much more confident in making progress towards my goals with my project, and I am
so thankful for her guidance and encouragement!”
– Jill K.

“Still and all, why bother? Here’s my answer: Many people need desperately to receive this message: 'I feel and think as much as you do, care about many of the things you care about, although most people don’t care about them. You are not alone.'”
— Kurt Vonnegut, Timequake
